This story, our story, began approximately 4 billion years ago, when our sweet earth was lifeless—a rotating ball of matter and energy, governed by the laws of physics and chemistry. The reach of complexity, limited.

Then life happened -

The living world, emerged from the physical Earth!

The first great Inflection Point of Complexity!
The living world is a multi-billion-year evolutionary pathway. From single-cell, to multicellular, to differentiated cells, life marched on - creating species in the sea, on the land and in the air, becoming a complex global ecosystem with millions upon millions of interconnected species.
​
Indeed, life is a trajectory, a trajectory to produce ever greater biological complexity, structure, and function. And, to keep doing so, diversifying, until it produces a species, with an infinite ability, to discover, to express, and to invent.
​
We are that species, these are our evolutionary gifts—our opportunities, our responsibility.
​
Of all the variations of life, that natural selection has created, humans are the only species to do anything remotely like:
- invent our own multicultural food chain,
- create countless unique languages,
- poetry, prose, music, dance,
- walk on the moon, land rovers on mars,
- edit the code of life, or
- design entirely new forms of intelligence.
​
In fact, humans are the lone species of life, to ever increase complexity, outside the system of biological evolution.
​
Life, created all the splendor and wonder of nature, and out of that magnificence, we emerged. Now, life is attempting, to hand-off to us, to Humankind, an entirely new mechanism of evolution, Conscious Progress.

As an Inflection Point of Life Itself - What Are We, Humankind, Capable Of?

The ingredients, they already exist. We have the technology, the knowledge, and the know-how to create any future that we desire, one that’s good for all the people and our planet.
​
​Additionally, human nature encompasses kindness, integrity, and love. While people can—and do—display the opposite, countless examples confirm the deep, enduring goodness of the human spirit. Our capacity for community, compassion, and creativity remains ever-present, ready to be consciously cultivated.
However, and it’s a big one, we are at a crossroad, the most consequential crossroad in our entire human journey - pointed in two vastly different directions.

In one direction lies the cobwebs of the old road—business as usual—the one where we keep telling ourselves the same old stories. It’s divided, it’s dysfunctional, and it fails to provide the vision or direction required to navigate this most extraordinary and unprecedented moment.
​
A new way is now needed.
​
If we use life’s evolutionary gifts; discovery, expression, and invention, consciously, we gain the option to craft a new road forward, one offering a future of exceptional and sustainable abundance, where prosperity is generously shared and where we, collectively as Humankind, become the Conscious Architects of The Future.
